Granska Energi AB has since its inception in 2013 worked with energy optimization agreements covering more than 500,000 m2 in public and commercial buildings. As the working method showed very good results, the energy optimization agreements were expanded at a rapid pace and soon partners were engaged to meet the increased demand.
To meet the need for business development and energy optimization of more buildings, we were faced with the choice of either expanding our staff or developing a new service. We chose the latter and developed QWTOOL – a tool that streamlines and automates large parts of the work method by handling system analysis, energy calculations, and documentation.
In short, to digitize the entire work method and make the tool so intuitive and accessible that the work method becomes scalable without limitation to how many buildings can be energy optimized. The tool is integrated as part of the technical property management and is aimed at users in the operations organization who possess basic knowledge of the building's technical systems (HVAC systems).
Granska Energi AB is committed to helping as many property owners as possible minimize their energy costs and contribute to a more sustainable energy management in society. We achieve this goal by digitizing our work method and making it accessible to more stakeholders.
QWTOOL is developed by a Team with more than 20 years of experience in operations and maintenance work within industrial and property applications, and more than 15 years of experience as an energy consultant in the real estate industry.
Collaboration partners for IT development of the QWTOOL web app have a team with solid background in system development. QWTOOL is owned and operated by Granska Energi AB.
We look forward to working together with QWTOOL users to make the world more energy-efficient and sustainable.

Before the energy audit is started, QWTOOL is configured with tasks related to building data and HVAC* systems so that each building gets a unique setup. This work only needs to be done once. After that, the building can be energy audited any number of times during both winter and summer seasons.
